On 23 July 2025, the Chinese Business Chamber of Mauritius was honored to host His Excellency Mr. Gaetan Siew, the newly appointed Mauritian Ambassador to China, for a special meeting with our Members and Corporate Affiliates.
Discussions centered on aligning the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with Mauritius’s development priorities, strengthening Sino-Mauritian business partnerships, and supporting the launch of a direct China–Mauritius air route.
The evening’s interactive exchange reaffirmed the vital role of the business community in driving both economic growth and diplomatic engagement. It concluded with a networking reception, strengthening connections that will help shape the future of bilateral trade and investment.
