Dear Members:
As previously informed, I am pleased to attach the Program details for our planned Business trip to China. Interested members are requested to contact the CBC Office urgently to register their names, and at the latest by 14 January 2017, COB. We have to forward your names to our host organisation by the 15th January to enable them to communicate the list of the delegation to their counterpart organisation in the various provinces and cities we are going to visit.
The cities we shall be visiting are: Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen. The main areas we are targeting is Marine Economy, Aquaculture, Dry Dock, new technology.
If you have any specific sectors or companies you wish to cover/meet in addition to those planned in our attached program, please let us know immediately and we shall liaise with our host organisation to see whether they can be accommodated.
An indication of the costs involved for the trip is provided in the program. In addition, there will be some common costs for purchase of gifts for our hosts and companies we are visiting. We shall communicate further details on this matter to you, once you have shown your interest. You will have to provide a deposit of Rs 25,000 each to confirm your firm interest and to secure your place.
For interested participants, you will have to provide a short bio of yourself with an electronic passport size pictures within the next week or so. A sample will be provided to you once you indicate your interest. This bio will be compiled into a introductory booklet which we shall distribute to the various organisations/companies we visit.
