Mr. Dany Chung For Yuen is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and a CPA of Canada. He majored in Operations Management at the University of Nottingham and completed his postgraduate studies at the London College of Printing. After working as a supervisor at Times Printers in Singapore and as a senior financial accountant at IBM in Canada, he returned to Mauritius and is currently the director of Cathay Printing Ltd. At CBC, he served as Board Secretary in 2023-24 and Treasurer in 2024-25.

Vice President 副会长 – Mrs. Angelie LEONG KWAI CHEONG 吳丹丹
Mrs. Angelie Leong Kwai Cheong (born Ng Thow Hing) is a distinguished professional with
extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. She holds a BA, an EMBA
in Financial Services, and a Financial Planner (F.Pl.) diploma from prestigious institutions in
Canada, including Concordia University, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and the
Institut Québécois de Planification Financière (IQPF).
Mrs. Leong is also recognized as an expert in insurance, boasting over 16 years of experience
as a Financial Security Advisor and Mutual Fund Representative with leading Canadian
insurance firms such as Desjardins Financial Security and Industrial Alliance, and where she
earned several awards for her outstanding performance. She was also a member of the
Chambre de la Sécurité Financière (Québec), Canada.
Returning to Mauritius in 2017, Mrs. Leong worked for the State Bank of Mauritius (SBM)
Private Wealth and Spice Finance Ltd (AXYS). She is also involved in business ventures,
including real estate.
Since 2019, Mrs. Leong has been actively engaged with the Chinese Business Chamber (CBC)
and the Ng Welfare Society in Mauritius, serving as a board member and reflecting her
influence and leadership in the community and business organizations.

Secretary 秘书 – Mrs. Catherine FOO KUNE 黎木兰
Mrs. Catherine Foo- Kune, born Lai Chin Kon, Bcom (Wits University), FIISA, RMA- IRMSA. With over 30 years of corporate insurance experience, Catherine’s career began in South Africa where she spent a decade in the mega risks market. Coming to Mauritius, Catherine has served as the Area Manager for PF (Mauritius) Reinsurance Brokers and has held the position of Training Manager for the Insurance Institute of Mauritius for ten years.
Currently, she is the Vice President of the Insurance Brokers Association (IBA) and Chinese Business Chamber where she also previously served as Secretary on the CBC board. As the CEO and founder of MIB Ltd, an insurance brokerage and consultancy, she is also a founding member of the GIB Insurance Brokers Association of Africa (GIBAA), which is widely present in the continent of Africa. Post- COVID she has been instrumental in the introduction of a major global health insurance provider to the island. Recently she has helped in the creation of a platform focused on SDGs aiming at creating a more sustainable future for all.

Assistant Secretary 助理秘书 – Mr. Ka Yee LEUNG TAK WAN 黎木兰
Mr. Ka Yee Leung completed his tertiary studies in the University of International Business and Economics, one of the top Universities in Economics in China. He came back to Mauritius in 2017 and works as an ad hoc Chinese Interpreter registered at the Supreme Court of Mauritius. He is Currently the Business Executive at Neel Group, leading the Solar department. Due to the Business Network he has built internationally, he is also an Independent Consultant for Chinese and global investors into Africa. During the past years, he was elected in the board of CBC as Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer.

Mr. Sergio LIU MANG HIN is a qualified Optician Optometrist with over 19 years’ experience within the Optical Industry. He is the founder and managing director of Optissimo Ltd which is involved in the import and retailing of Sunglasses, Spectacles, and Contact Lenses. He is an elected member of the Mauritius Optical Council of Opticians.

Public Relations Officer 公关人员 – Mrs. Kate LI KWONG WING 李美玲
Mrs. Kate Li Kwong Wing is a barrister-at-Law. She was previously working at ENSafrica (Mauritius) in its corporate and commercial practice. Prior to that, Kate was the senior legal and corporate affairs officer and the Company Secretary of Alteo Limited. She started her legal career some 15 years ago with the international law firm, Appleby, where she also worked in its Hong Kong and Shanghai offices. Kate is passionate about Asian Art and History, and is proficient in Mandarin. Kate is keen to bring her skills and knowledge to the Board and has previously held the positions of Secretary and Public Relations officer at CBC.

Mr. David Koon Kam King qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London, bringing with him 20+ years of experience in dealing with corporate members and 5 years of experience in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. He worked in Africa (Johannesburg, Togo), the United Kingdom (London), France (Paris), Madagascar, and Seychelles. David currently acts as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of one of the largest cell captive insurance in South Africa and has been appointed as an Independent Director on a crypto exchange. He also sits on the investment committee of a specialized fund investing in Africa and the Middle East and currently holds the role of President of the Chinese Business Chamber (CBC) to facilitate business relationships.

Board Member 理事 – Mr. Olivier YEUNG KAN CHING 杨尊生
Born in 1982 in Mauritius, Olivier Yeung Kan Ching studied in the United Kingdom. He was a board member during 2024 to 2025.
Specialized in the field of accounting and finance, he currently works for the company Sotravic in the Waste Management division. He has worked in China (Shanghai) for some years in several fields including trade activities, tourism, F&B and the production of textile machinery near the Shanghai region which is still on-going as he exports to overseas markets often back and forth between Mauritius and China. At one point, he was a co-owner of a fusion cuisine restaurant.
He felt the need to join the 花商经贸专业联合会 so to better help business between Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese people based in Mauritius to develop opportunities for the members.

Mrs. Corinne Tsang Pun Yin, born Leung Shin Cheung, is the Office Manager of the Chinese Business Chamber since 2015. She has more than 15 years work experience in the administration department. Mrs. Tsang previously worked in the offshore sector at OCRA Worldwide as a Corporate Administrator. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Science (Hons) Business Management at Open University of Mauritius.
