Mr. David Koon Kam King qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London, bringing with him 20+ years of experience in dealing with corporate members and 5 years of experience in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. He worked in Africa (Johannesburg, Togo), the United Kingdom (London), France (Paris), Madagascar, and Seychelles. David currently acts as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of one of the largest cell captive insurance in South Africa and has been appointed as an Independent Director on a crypto exchange. He also sits on the investment committee of a specialized fund investing in Africa and the Middle East and currently holds the role of President of the Chinese Business Chamber (CBC) to facilitate business relationships.

Vice President 副会长 – Mrs. Catherine FOO KUNE 黎木兰
Mrs. Catherine Foo- Kune, born Lai Chin Kon, Bcom (Wits), FIISA, RMA- IRMSA, is an insurance broker with 30 years corporate insurance experience. She worked for ten years in the mega risks market in RSA for Fedgen, SA Eagle and Guardian National handling the Barlows and Ex-Barlows accounts. She was awarded the best fellow in insurance for Central Gauteng (South Africa) and the Guardian Royal Exchange insurance (GRE) UK scholarship. In Mauritius, she has been the area manager of PF (Mauritius) reinsurance brokers. Catherine has been the training manager for the insurance institute of Mauritius for the past ten years and is presently the Vice President of the Insurance Brokers Association. She is the CEO and founder of MIB Ltd, insurance brokers and consultants, a founding member of GIBAA, present in 44 African countries.

Secretary 秘书 – Mrs. Angelie LEONG KWAI CHEONG 吳丹丹
Mrs. Angelie Leong Kwai Cheong (born Ng Thow Hing) is a distinguished professional with
extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. She holds a BA, an EMBA
in Financial Services, and a Financial Planner (F.Pl.) diploma from prestigious institutions in
Canada, including Concordia University, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and the
Institut Québécois de Planification Financière (IQPF).
Mrs. Leong is also recognized as an expert in insurance, boasting over 16 years of experience
as a Financial Security Advisor and Mutual Fund Representative with leading Canadian
insurance firms such as Desjardins Financial Security and Industrial Alliance, and where she
earned several awards for her outstanding performance. She was also a member of the
Chambre de la Sécurité Financière (Québec), Canada.
Returning to Mauritius in 2017, Mrs. Leong worked for the State Bank of Mauritius (SBM)
Private Wealth and Spice Finance Ltd (AXYS). She is also involved in business ventures,
including real estate.
Since 2019, Mrs. Leong has been actively engaged with the Chinese Business Chamber (CBC)
and the Ng Welfare Society in Mauritius, serving as a board member and reflecting her
influence and leadership in the community and business organizations.

Mr. Ah Kune Poo Kim Li Fu is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and has over 25 years as partner with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young (EY). Ah Kune is currently the Country Professional Practice Director at EY Mauritius after having served as Assurance Partner on a number of clients in the Insurance, Banking, Private Equity and Wealth and Asset Management sectors. He has also carried out a number of assignments for World Bank Funded Projects in 19 sub-Saharan Africa countries. Ah Kune is passionate about the power and impact of Disruptive Tech and the promise of Fintech to bring banking and insurance at affordable prices to the unbanked and uninsured.

Board Member 理事 – Mr. Olivier YEUNG KAN CHING 杨尊生
Born in 1982 in Mauritius, Mr. Olivier Yeung Kan Ching attended primary and secondary school in private schools. He then continued his university studies in England.
Specialized in the field of accounting and finance, he currently works for the company Sotravic. He was worked in China (Shanghai) for some years in several fields including trade activities, tourism, F&B and the production of textile machinery (still on-going). He often travels back and forth between Mauritius and China. At one point, he was even a co-owner of a fusion cuisine restaurant in the city of Yixing, which is well known for Zisha clay (a special clay used to make Chinese teapots).
Olivier is a sports fan. He loves watching football and basketball games. He played a lot of table tennis in his youth and currently he swims regularly.
He felt the need to join the CBC club so that he could better help people in business with China and Mauritian people of Chinese ethnicity. He wishes, beforehand, to make new acquaintances and develop a bond of friendship.

Mrs. Corinne Tsang Pun Yin, born Leung Shin Cheung, is the Office Manager of the Chinese Business Chamber since 2015. She has more than 15 years work experience in the administration department. Mrs. Tsang previously worked in the offshore sector at OCRA Worldwide as a Corporate Administrator. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Science (Hons) Business Management at Open University of Mauritius.
